CONTENT

With 15 years of experience in leather work, Rémi will share his knowledge with you during these discovery workshops. You will thus learn the different stages of manufacturing so that you can at the end of this training be able to realize a great variety of objects independently and independently. You will be able to learn the pushing of the leather, the stitching of saddle, the dyes on leather, the shaping...

Content of training course

• - Discovery of different leathers, tools and uses
• - How to make pattern
• - Cutting (scissors, half-moon knife, cookie cutter, etc.)
• - Knowledge of the different ways of embossing and working leather (rubbing, crimping, aging effect, etc.)
• - Uses of dyes
• - Leather shaping
• - Different assembly techniques (rivets, sewing, lacing)
• - Finishes and maintenance

All the work will be done on a vegetable tanning type leather, the mineral tanning (modern soft leather, leather goods) being little used in our workshops.

During these courses, different objects will be made by you and you can leave with ( bracelet, bag, belt, mask...).
